29 CFR  1910.28(b)(1)(i):29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):  Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i):  (a) Bureau of Land Management DBA MONTROSE INTERAGENCY FIRE MANAGEMENT UNIT: On or before 11/15/22 the employer did not ensure that employees working near unprotected sides and edges four feet high and greater were protected from fall hazards. A concrete truck loading ramp with a platform over 48 inches was not equipped with guard rails or other approved fall protection devices. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards.  Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.
