29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(i): Non-self-supporting ladder(s) were not used at an angle such that the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder was approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder (the distance along the ladder between the foot and the top support). On or about November 16, 2022, at a residential jobsite, an extension ladder was not set at the proper angle (4:1 ratio) when leaned against the wall. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: On or about November 16, 2022, employees engaged in residential construction activities were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 6-feet without using any form of fall protection. FT Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(B)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1492781, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on January 29, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 436 Majestic Mountain Dr, El Paso, TX 79912. FT Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(B)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1379811, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on June 20, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 11700 Pebble Hills, El Paso, TX 79938.
