29 CFR 1910.151(b):In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available. a. On or about November 29, 2022, and at times thereto, the employer did not ensure that the first aid kit that was provided had adequate supplies available for the employees. The employees were exposed to lacerations and puncture injuries while sorting broken pallets where the first aid kit did not contain the supplies necessary for potential injuries.

29 CFR 1910.178(l)(4)(ii): Refresher training in relevant topics shall be provided to the operator when: 29 CFR 1910.178(l)(4)(ii)(B):The operator has been involved in an accident or near-miss incident a. On or about November 29, 2022, and at times thereto, the employer did not provide employees involved in forklift incidents, such as crashing into inside walls of tractor tailers and building support columns, with refresher training to ensure that the employees were competent to safely operate the equipment prior to permitting the employees to return to forklift operations.
