29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2): Exit access(es) were not at least 28 inches (71.1 cm) wide at all points. a. The mezzanine Lam 3 - On or about December 1, 2022, pallets on the mezzanine used for change over and roll stock were obstructing the egress path to less than 28 inches and required the employees to step over pallets or the machinery in the event of an emergency. Employees were exposed to fire and hazards associated with emergency response. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.216(c)(1): Safety tripod, cable, or wire center cord were not provided across each pair of in-running rolls extending the length of the face of the rolls. It was not readily accessible and operate whether pushed or pulled. The safety tripping devices were not located within reach of the operator and the bite. a. Lamination 3 Mezzanine - On or about November 9, 2022, the in-running rollers on the lamination feed rollers were not guarded to prevent employees from caught in hazards. Aberdeen Road Company DBA Herculite Products Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.216(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 159064, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 09/27/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 105 East Sinking Springs Lane, Emigsville, PA 17318.
