29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  A) Samuel Stamping Technologies, LLC, on or about January 20, 2023 at the address of 1760 Broadway Road, Hermitage, PA: Employees are exposed to caught between hazards on the  Herra-Voss cut to length 60 inch line during cutting operations, on the infeed side of the machine.  The top bar of the shear is unguarded and closes with the cutting blade creating caught between hazard.   B) Samuel Stamping Technologies, LLC, on or about January 20, 2023 at the address of 1760 Broadway Road, Hermitage, PA: Employees operating the Make/model: coil tech 48 Inch Cincinnati slitter machine are not protected by guarding at the out feed side with moving part rollers. Employees are exposed to moving parts hazards without any type of guard to prevent employees from accessing the rollers.  C) Samuel Stamping Technologies, LLC, on or about January 20, 2023 at the address of 1760 Broadway Road, Hermitage, PA: Employees operating the Make/model: coil tech 48 inch Cincinnati slitter are not protected from moving parts on the out feed side of the machine. Employees are exposed to unguarded chains and sprockets 3 feet above the ground.

The point of operations on the West side of the machine is unguarded allowing employees to access the point of operation on the shear.
