29 CFR 1910.151(c):  Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use.  a) Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Inc., 3300 Expresso Way, York, PA 17406 - On or about December 20, 2022, the plumbed emergency shower/eyewash station in the battery washing area was not inspected weekly, causing employees to be exposed to health hazards, and hazards associated with improper water flow, improper water temperature, and improper water pressure while operating the station in case of an emergency.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1):  The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met, and had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program which included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii):   a) Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Inc., 3300 Expresso Way, York, PA 17406 - On or about December 20, 2022, employees were performing work operations including, but not limited to, battery washing, and the employer did not have a written hazard communication program.  b) Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Inc., 3300 Expresso Way, York, PA 17406, - On or about December 20, 2022, the employer had not developed a list/inventory of the hazardous chemicals known to be present within the workplace for work operations, including, but not limited to, battery washing.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
