OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that they were exposed to stuck by hazard:  R. W. Sidley located at 7123 Madison Rd, Thompson, OH 44086. On and about December 7, 2023, employees working at the P8 bed (stressing machine/stressing jack), located in the precast department, T building, were inadequately trained on adjusting the buttress while under tension from a stressed strand and utilizing the vertical buttress supports specific to bed 8.  An employee was struck by the buttress when another employee hit the vertical  buttress  support with a hammer causing the strand to release under pressure and cause injury to an employee.
