29 CFR 1910.141(a)(3)(i): All places of employment were not kept clean to the extent that the nature of the work allowed; (A) Heavy Shop (LP-20): On or about 1/12/23, and times prior thereto, employees were exposed to health hazards from the accumulation of bird feces on material, equipment, work surfaces, and walkways throughout the work area. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body was not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (A) Heavy Shop: On or around 1/12/23, and times prior thereto, employee(s) used the chemicals Green Ogor and Drummond Steam Cleaner to load the Zamboni. The eyewash station provided was not suitable for use, due to it being covered in bird feces. Reference: ANSI Z358.1 Emergency Eyewash and Shower Standard Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
