29 CFR 1910.146(c)(2): The employer did not inform exposed employees, by posting danger signs or by any other equally effective means, of the existence and location of and the danger posed by the permit spaces:  a) On or about 01/12/2023, at the Corrugated downstackers, the space under the tables and behind the curtain, which employees enter to clean, did not have a posted sign or other effective means to inform employees of the danger posed by permit space(s). The space was incorrectly identified as a NON-PERMIT CONFINED SPACE.  b) On or about 01/12/2023, at the Corrugated cutoff knife, the space inside where the knife is located, which employees enter to clean and do maintenance, did not have a posted sign or other effective means to inform employees of the danger posed by permit space(s).    ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch:  a) On or about 01/12/2023, in the Maintenance Shop, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards when using the pedestal grinder to round off edges on parts when the work rest attached was not kept adjusted to within 1/8-inch of the wheel.  NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
