29 CFR  1910.305(b)(1)(i): Conductors entering cutout boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not protected from abrasion, and openings through which conductors enter were not effectively closed.  a. Krones Canmatic Labeler: Conductors entering below the glue tongue of the labelling machine were not being protected from abrasion. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards and fire hazards.  b. Glue tongue, Krones Canmatic Labeler: The cover to the junction box on the left of the glue tongue was not properly secured in place causing the cover to move sideways exposing the inner electrical conductors. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards.

StarKist Samoa Co. was previously cited for a repeat violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1302826, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 05, 2018 with respect to the same workplace located at the Samoa Tuna Processor Warehouse, Pago Pago, American Samoa.
