29 CFR  1910.252(b)(2)(iii):Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields:  a.)	Hensa Stmp, Inc., Welding department (Hose reel area), on or about January 19th, 2023 and times prior thereto:  Some employees working near or around MIG welding operations of carbon steel were not protected from welding rays, in that, the employees were not protected by welding shields or screens while working in the station next to the robotic welding/manual welding area #3.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR  1910.305(c)(4):Snap switches mounted in boxes did not have faceplates installed so as to completely cover the opening and seat against the finished surface:  a)	Hensa Stmp, Inc., Blue building bathroom area, on or about January 19th, 2023 and times prior thereto:  An electrical light switch box that supplied power to the lights in the blue building bathroom was not equipped with a cover plate.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

Hensa Stmp, Inc., various production areas, on or about January 19th, 2023 and times prior thereto:  Employees worked with and around hazardous substances including, but not limited to, various metals and compressed gases (Argon/Carbon Dioxide) during welding operations. A written hazard communication program had not been developed and implemented.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). Hensa Stmp, Inc., various production areas, on or about January 19th, 2023 and times prior thereto:  Employees worked with and around hazardous substances including, but not limited to, various metals and compressed gases (Argon/Carbon Dioxide) during welding operations. The employer did not provide hazard communication training for all employees who worked with and around hazardous substances.     ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

The employer did not make available a Safety Data Sheet for substances including, but not limited to, the carbon steel that was being welded on by employees   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).
