Employer did not ensure a hazard assessment had been performed regarding the tasks conducted for both locations. Employees were exposed to contact dermatitis.

29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1): The employer did not provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use personal protective equipment Building 185 and Q11: On or before January 19, 2023, Employee handled Zep Industrial Purple Degreaser and Monogram Disinfectant Bleach prior to conducting housekeeping tasks such as washing linens and cleaning ventilation hoods in the hotel room(s). Employer did not ensure the employees were trained on the use of gloves and/or other form of hand protection prior to performing these tasks. Employees were exposed to contact dermatitis.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical: Oasis RV Park and Lodging: On or before January 19, 2023, employees utilized VP4 Pine Cleaner Valu+Plus to clean and sanitize floors of two buildings. Employer had the following: a) Building 185: Pine Sol was contained in a Zep Professional Sprayer 32oz. bottle and was without any product identifier, word, and symbol affixed to the bottle. b) Quarter 11: Pine Sol was contained in a Spic n Span 32 oz. spray bottle without any health and safety hazards statements affixed to the bottle. Employees were exposed to eye irritation.
