29 CFR 1910.106(e)(2)(ii)(b)  The employer did not ensure the quantity of liquid located outside of an inside storage room or storage cabinet in a building or in any one fire area of a building did not exceed 25 gallons of Category 1B flammable liquids in containers.  On February 2, 2023, 55- gallon steel drums containing approximately 2,585 gallons of class 1B flammable liquid Ethyl Alcohol were stored outside of a rated storage room or cabinet.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
