29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At the construction site located at 8700 North Oak Trafficway, Kansas City MO, employees were exposed to fall hazards when employees were not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems while employees were laying under a cable guard rail system attaching a window head receptor on the bottom side of the unprotected edge. This was document on or about 2/1/2023. Midwest Glass and Glazing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (name previously cited standard), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1305044, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 6-4-2018, with respect to a workplace located at 7939 Floyd St in Overland Parks KS.
