29 CFR  1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets:   At the job site located at The Woodlands, Chapman Farms, 421 Redbud Court, Lot 44, Blue Springs MO 64013: Employees were working and walking underneath elevated materials, equipment, and other employees that were working overhead with tools, and were not provided with any means of head protection.

29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids, or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  At the job site located at The Woodlands, Chapman Farms, 421 Redbud Court, Lot 44, Blue Springs MO 64013: Employees engaged in roofing and framing activities using hand tools and pneumatic nail guns were on the roof of a residential construction working without the use of any eye protection. This exposed employees to getting debris in their eyes.  The Pettengill Construction LLC dba Pettengill Family Restoration LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1563089 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/10/2022, with respect to a workplace located at NW Tiffany Springs Rd & NW Old Stagecoach in KC MO.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system, nor were an employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  At the job site located at The Woodlands, Chapman Farms, 421 Redbud Court, Lot 44, Blue Springs MO 64013: Employees engaged in framing and decking the roof of residential construction, were lying plywood sheeting, and walking along unprotected edges of the roof without the use of any means of fall protection systems. This exposed employees to a fall greater than 20 feet to the ground below. This was documented on or about January 11, 2023.   The Pettengill Construction LLC dba Pettengill Family Restoration LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1563089, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on May 10, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at NW Tiffany Springs Rd & NW Old Stagecoach, KC MO.   The Pettengill Construction LLC dba Pettengill Family Restoration LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1596526, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 12, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at Lot #35 Sycamore St., Lake Lotawana, Missouri.
