29 CFR 1926.1427(a): General requirements for operators. The employer did not ensure that each operator is trained, certified/ licensed, and evaluated in accordance with this section before operating any equipment covered under subpart CC, except for the equipment listed in paragraph (a)(2) of this section. a) New residential construction located at Lot #169 Token Chase, Cumming, GA 30040. On or about February 02, 2023, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while installing roof trusses with a truck-mounted mobile crane, in that the crane operator was not certified or licensed to operate the National Crane 1800 Telescoping Hydraulic Boom Crane. OC Cranes Services and Signs, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1427(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1482696 , citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08-18-2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2013 Heyward Way, Alpharetta, GA 30009.
