29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a) New residential construction located on Lot #45 at 676 Whitman Lane, Stockbridge, GA 30281, Top plate: On or about 02/06/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employee to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities while operating these tools.

Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) New residential construction located on Lot #45 at 676 Whitman Lane, Stockbridge, GA 30281, Top plate; On or about 02/06/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of 19-feet 2-inches to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities.
