29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles: On or about 02/08/2023 employees of JSG General Contracting were installing roofing materials on a roof of a residential apartment building located at 18100 Syrah Circle, Saint Peters, MO. Two employees were observed operating pneumatic nail guns without using eye protection. JSG General Contracting, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1559183, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/24/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 638 Mendelssohn, Kirkwood, MO.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about 02/08/2023 at a residential jobsite located at 18100 Syrah Circle, Saint Peters, MO., employees were exposed to a fall hazard. Employees were observed actively installing new roofing material, while working on the roof of a residential structure approximately 35 feet above the ground. JSG General Contracting, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1559183, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/24/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 638 Mendelssohn Drive, Kirkwood, MO.
