29 CFR 1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) Bakery: On or about 2/9/23 an emergency eye wash capable of providing 15 minutes of continuous flushing, was not available near the pan washing/sink area. Employees use corrosive materials, including F-29 Liquid Sanitizer and Foam Safe Chlorinated Alkaline Liquid Foam Cleaner, to clean kitchen equipment and dough trays. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH CFR 1903.19
