Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.  a)  On or about February 21, 2023, at 503 Meadow Circle East in Kohler, Wisconsin, employees were exposed to a fall hazard while walking and/or working on a roof deck 12.5 feet above surface level without using fall protection equipment.  b)  On or about February 21, 2023, at 503 Meadow Circle East in Kohler, Wisconsin, employees were exposed to a fall hazard while walking on an upper level floor with an unprotected edge 12 feet above surface level.  c)  On or about February 21, 2023, at 503 Meadow Circle East in Kohler, Wisconsin, employees were exposed to fall hazards while walking outside exterior walls in areas with unprotected surface level holes 6 feet above lower surface level without using fall protection equipment.
