29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person(s). a) At Bailey Street Cottages, 284 Bailey Street, Lot 1400, Athens, GA 30605: On or about February 24, 2023, and at times prior, subcontracted employees were engaged in framing activities at heights about 10 feet from the ground level without the use of fall protection or fall arrest systems, exposing employees to fall hazards. The employer did not establish a system of frequent and regular safety inspections so as to identify and eliminate this and similar safety and health related hazards at the jobsites they controlled.
