29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury:  a) New commercial construction located at 4038 Winder Highway Flowery Branch, GA 30542, Top Plate Area: On or about 03/01/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic nail guns and hand tools, in that protective eyewear was not provided while engaged in framing activities.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) New commercial construction located at 4038 Winder Highway Flowery Branch, GA 30542, Top Plate Area: On or about 03/01/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet 1 inch to the lower ground level, in that adequate fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in the installation of framing materials.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:  a) New commercial construction located at 4038 Winder Highway Flowery Branch, GA 30542, Top Plate Area: On or about 03/01/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet 1 inch to the lower ground level, in that a ladder with side rails extending at least 3-feet past the landing was not provided for safe access.
