One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc.  On or about March 3, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees were not bypassing the interlock guarding system to observe the movement of the automated steel pipe process that included the movement of the was FANUC Robot R-2000iB 210F( Type A05B-1329-B205, # R07606866) while standing inside of the enclosure.
