29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) Door and assembly department; A Jet 16 ? inch model JDP-17FSE drill press (S/N 6100230) had a chuck and bit that was not guarded to protect operators from rotating parts and flying chips. (b) Door and assembly department; A Jenkins Systems tenoner machine (Asset #21) had a pinch point by the infeed side that was not guarded. (c) Finishing department; A Unisander 1101 machine (S/N 2004077) had a pinch point on the outfeed side that was not guarded.
