Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) At the jobsite located at 14116-14126 Kensington Ln, Fort Myers, FL 33907; on 2/15/23, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that fall protection was not utilized by employees while performing roofing activities such as but not limited to tile removal on a 6:12 pitch residential home roof approximately 25 feet in height.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed. a) At the jobsite located at 14116-14126 Kensington Lane, Fort Myers, FL 33907; on or about 2/15/23, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that the ladders were not 3 feet above the upper surface when utilized by employees while accessing the roof of a residential home to perform work activities.
