29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Reference: ANSI Z358.1 Emergency Eyewash and Shower Standard 5.4.4 The eyewash unit shall be located on the same level as the hazard and the path of travel shall be free of obstructions that may inhibit the immediate use of the equipment. Casino Bakery: On or before March 09, 2023, employees used corrosive chemicals such as Ecolab Oasis 115XP Floor Cleaner, Ecolab Greasestrip Plus, and Bleach during cleaning tasks where an emergency eye wash station was missing. Employees were exposed to eye burns or blindness.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1): Employer did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use: Facilities: On or before March 09, 2023, employees used hazardous materials such as Westpac Joint Compound and Surface Solutions Traction Wash Tile and Grout Cleaner without safety data sheets being available onsite. The employer did not provide safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical used. The employees were potentially exposed to dermal, upper respiratory, and eye damage. Casino Pauma was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1464523, citation number 2, item number 1/b and was affirmed as a final order on July 23, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at Casino Pauma, 777 Pauma Reservation Road, Pauma Valley, CA 92061.
