29 CFR 1926.502(f)(1)(ii): When mechanical equipment was being used, the warning line was erected less than 6 feet (1.8 m) from the roof edge which is parallel to the direction of mechanical equipment operation, and less than 10 feet (3.1 m) from the roof edge which is perpendicular to the direction of mechanical equipment operation: a) On or about March 2, 2023, workers were exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet to the ground below while performing work on a roof with a warning line system that was erected less than 10 feet (3.1 m) from the roof edge which was perpendicular to the direction of operation of the Leister Varimat V2 Hot Welder Cart.
