29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1): Surfaces. All surfaces shall be maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead. At the worksite located at 1323 W Locust Street in Springfield MO: On or about March 10, 2023, and at times prior to, employees were exposed to health hazards including but not limited to kidney problems, high blood pressure, and other symptoms of lead toxicity due to exposure to lead from the punch clock that the employees use to clock in and out of the job five days a week. Failing to maintain surfaces that are as free as practicable from the accumulation of lead can create ingestion hazard for the employees.
