29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) KW Plastics production floor, extruder number 5: On March 7, 2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to thermal burns from super-heated hot plastic in that the employer allows employees to purge the extruder without first ensuring there are procedures developed, documented, and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy.
