All energy isolating devices that are needed to control the energy to the machine or equipment shall be physically located and operated in such a manner as to isolate the machine or equipment from the energy source(s). a) Jobsite - On or about March 11, 2023 the employer had not ensured that an energy isolating device was attached to control the pneumatic energy source were developed, exposing employees to amputation hazards.

29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i):The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: (a) Jobsite - On or about March 11, 2023 the employer had not conducted periodic inspections of energy control procedures for various pieces of equipment including the boiler scrubber, exposing employees to burn and amputation hazards.
