29 CFR 1910.272(g)(1)(iii): The atmosphere within a bin, silo, or tank in the grain handling facility was not tested for the presence of combustible gases, vapors, and toxic agents prior to employee entry: a.) On or about March 20, 2023, at the tunnel of Silo #1 and Silo #2, employees entered the tunnel under the silos that contained atmospheric hazards such as but not limited to phosphene, nitrogen dioxide, and carbon monoxide gases to perform work activities including but not limited to cleaning and checking the area, without performing atmospheric testing.
