29 CFR 1910.184(c)(6): Slings were not securely attached to their loads: On or about March 14, 2023: Employees engaged in manual grinding activities at the Finishing Department of Deeter Foundry located at 5945 North 70th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska were exposed to finger crushing hazards in that sling hooks were not securely attached to the grates being grinded. An employee suffered amputation injuries after the grate fell off the hook unexpectedly.
