29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a) Columbia Chutes, LLC located at 610 Moen Ave., Door 7, Rockdale, IL 60436: On or about March 27, 2023, an employee was tasked with cutting Thermafiber K-FAC-19 boards and had not received hazard communication training from the employer. The employee was exposed to chemical hazards that included silica (quartz and cristobalite).
