29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge: (a & b)Philadelphia Rust-Proof Co., Inc located at 2086 E Willard St, Philadelphia PA-Discharge exit to Amber St. : On or about April 28, 2023, the employer did not ensure that the exit discharge were able to be opened from the inside. Employees are exposed to fire hazards while working in the doll house room when the exit discharge doors were kept locked and caged.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (a) Philadelphia Rust-Proof Co., Inc located at 2086 E Willard St, Philadelphia PA: On or about March 30, 2023, the employer did not provide effective hazardous chemical training for employees engaged in electroplating operations and using corrosives chemicals such as but not limited to: -Hydrochloric acid -Chromium (III) compounds, nitric acid, cobalt compounds contained in Dipsol ZT-444E.
