29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes. (a) 20 JOHANNA FARMS RD. FLEMINGTON, NJ 08822 Employees wore work gloves during assigned maintenance work on ammonia refrigeration system which are not impervious to ammonia. On March 12, 2023 an EHS Operator incurred burns to his hands while changing out pressure relief valve(s) of an Accumulator Oil Dump Tank in the ammonia compressor room. Condition(s) occurred on March 12, 2023 and thereafter.
