29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On the roof of a residence, located at 3800 Gulf Blvd, Saint Petersburg, FL: On or about 04/05/2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that, fall protection was not utilized by employees while performing roofing work on a residential roof that had an elevation greater than 6 ft with an estimated pitch of 5:12. New Era AG Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1608871, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/27/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 400 Benton Drive, Appleton, WI 54913.
