29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(ii): Each employee on a walking/working surface was not protected from tripping in or stepping into or through holes (including skylights) by covers: a) Boiler Room: On or about 4/14/2023, and times before, the general contractor did not ensure that employees and sub-contractors working in the building were protected from tripping over or into an unmarked, partially uncovered floor hole. Ahlborg Construction Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1646117, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/20/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 900 Smithfield Road, North Providence, RI 02911.
