29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(ii): Each employee on a walking/working surface was not protected from tripping in or stepping into or through holes (including skylights) by covers. a) Building A: On or about 9/17/2024, and times prior, the employer did not ensure that employees and sub-contractors working in the building were protected from tripping over or into unmarked and uncovered floor openings, when accessing the electrical outlets in the building. Ahlborg Construction Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1663407, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 22, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 120 Killey Avenue, Warwick, RI 02889. Ahlborg Construction Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1646117, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/20/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 900 Smithfield Road, North Providence, RI 02911.
