29 CFR  1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used:   a)  At 6103 and 6105 Mallory Ridge, Units 23 / 24 Mallory Place, Union City, Georgia;  On April 15, 2023; the employer allowed his employees to perform siding activities from a ladder jack scaffold without ensuring the employees had a ladder to get on and off the scaffold exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 19.7 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles:  a)  At 6103 and 6105 Mallory Ridge, Units 23 / 24 Mallory Place, Union City, Georgia;  On April 15, 2023; the employer allowed his employees to operate pneumatic nail guns without eye protection while performing siding activities exposing his employees to struck-by hazards.  The V & V Brothers Remodeling, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102 (B)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1374321, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 15, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at Lot #29 565 Opera Lane, Alpharetta, Georgia.

The V & V Brothers Remodeling, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (B)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1374321, citation number 1, item number 2and was affirmed as a final order on April 15, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at Lot #29 565 Opera Lane, Alpharetta, Georgia.
