29 CFR 1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) At a workplace located at 409 West Cooper, Tipton, MO; employees were exposed to corrosive materials such as, but not limited to, brake cleaner and phosphoric acid. An eyewash station in the shop area had miscellaneous items lying on and around the eyewash station as well as being covered in dust, preventing the station from being available for immediate emergency use.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1):Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (a) At a workplace located at 409 West Cooper, Tipton, MO; employees were exposed to chemicals such as, but not limited to, brake cleaner, contact cleaners, adhesives, spray paints, and phosphoric acid. These chemicals can have health effects such as eye damage, respiratory system irritation, and skin irritation. The employer had not provided effective information and training to employees.
