29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. On or about 5/2/2023, Harvey Pallets, Inc. did not ensure electrical equipment was free from recognized hazards. Employees were engaged in sawmill operations and were exposed to electrocution and electrical shock. A cover on the control box of the Quincy compressor, Model P2103DS12HCB46, Serial Number UTY716126 had a missing cover exposing electrical wires.

29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(i): Conductors entering cutout boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not protected from abrasions, and openings through which conductors enter were not effectively closed. On or about 5/2/2023, Harvey Pallets, Inc. did not ensure all openings through which conductors entered cutout boxes and cabinets were effectively closed. The electrical junction box on the south end of the edging saw in the log-cutting building had a cover that was not effectively closed exposing electrical wires. Employees engaged in sawmill operations were exposed to electrical shock, electrocution, and/or fire. Harvey Pallets, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.305(b)(1)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1584247, citation number 1 item number 5, and was affirmed as a final order on 9/7/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 6033 MO-72 in Centerville, Missouri 63633
