29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Employees engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  (a)Chokan Exteriors, LLC at 5209  West 34th Street in Sioux Falls, SD 57106: On or about and at times prior to May 3, 2023, the exposing employer did not ensure employees performing residential roofing work were protected from fall hazards by the use of an appropriate fall protection system.  This condition exposed employees to fall hazards in excess of six feet above a lower level.    Chokan Exteriors, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1630493, citation number 1, item number 2a, and was affirmed as a final order on March 14, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 5005 West Equestrian Place in Sioux Falls, SD 57106.
