29 CFR 1960.8(a): 29 CFR 1960.8(a): The Agency head did not furnish employment and a place of employment to each employee that were free from recognized hazards that caused or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm: (a) On or about 05/03/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to crushing injuries or death from mower rollover on grades sloped at angles that exceed the manufacturer's recommended limit of 15 degrees, in that, employees were operating TORO 6000 series (S: 411572972) Zero Turn Mowers in culverts with a grade of 19 degrees. (b) On or about 05/03/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to crushing injuries or death from mower rollover on grades sloped at angles that exceed the manufacturer's recommended limit of 15 degrees, in that, employees were operating a Ferris 3200Z (S: 4000431875) Zero Turn Mowers in culverts with a grade of 19 degrees.
