29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7) Training and communication. (a) On or about May 8, 2023, at the #5 Wegner 60-inch roller feed perforating press, an employee was exposed to energized and activated shear blades as the employee reached inward to adjust the location of, and manipulate the processed material. This exposed the employee to crushing and amputation hazard when performing work tasks near the press perforating and shear operations.
