29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A safety harness with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift. On 11 May 2023, employees of GloveCon, Inc. were working off a Genie aerial lift on a commercial building at 1501 Denmark Rd in Union, Missouri. The employees performing work in the lift basket did not have fall arrest or fall restraint systems such as harnesses and lanyards attached to the basket. The employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 12 feet to the ground below.
