29 CFR 1910.261(k)(18): The hazard of the nip points on all calender rolls was not eliminated or minimized by means of an effective barrier device, or by feeding the paper into the rolls by means of a rope carrier, air jets, or hand feeding devices.: a) In the paper machine area, on Paper Machine 4, located at 1400 West Ninth Street, Brunswick, GA, on or about May 10, 2023, the employer exposed employees to pinch point and caught-in hazards, in that procedures and guarding were not in place to prevent employees from coming in contact with rotating nip points.
