29 CFR 1926.303(b)(1): Grinding machines were not equipped with safety guards in conformance with the requirements of ANSI B7.1-1970, Safety Code for the Use, Care, and Protection of abrasive wheels, and paragraph (d) of this section. Exterior, right side of the building: A DeWalt DWE4011 4 1/2" angle grinder was used to cut metal roof panels without a guard. Employees were exposed to struck-by and laceration hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system: Exterior, right side of the building: An employee installing metal roof panels on the overhang was not protected from falling. The roof structure was 8-feet 3-inches above the ground. The employee was exposed to fall hazards.
