29 CFR 1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use. Second floor administrative area: On or before May 23, 2023, employee(s) handled corrosive chemical(s) while conducting cleaning and disinfecting tasks and were not provided an eyewash for quick drenching and/or flushing purposes within the work area. Employees were exposed to eye irritation, corneal abrasion, and/or serious eye damage. The U.S. Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prison was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.151(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1650045, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 4, 2023 , with respect to a workplace located at 9595 W. Quincy Avenue, Littleton CO 80123.

The employer did not assess the workplace and/or tasks performed related to Portland Cement to determine the presence of hazard(s), which necessitate the use of Personal Protective Equipment(s). Employees were potentially exposed to skin redness, itchiness, inflammation, first degree burns, and/or respiratory irritation.
