29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles.  a) New residential construction located at 677 Magnolia Drive, Dawsonville, GA 30534, Front side of structure: On or about 05/25/2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic siding nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees operating these tools at 130 PSI. Employees were exposed to plastic and metal collated fragments and fasteners from each tool.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. Exception: When the employer can demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems, the employer shall develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502.  a) New residential construction located at 677 Magnolia Drive, Dawsonville, GA 30534, Front side of structure: On or about 05/25/2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards at approximately 14-feet, 4 inches to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in siding activities using the roof as a walking/working surface.
