On or about May 25, 2023, an employee was using a pneumatic/battery nail gun on the site's north side to attach framing materials without eye/face protection. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(ii): Each employee on a walking/working surface six feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level where leading edges were under construction but who was not engaged in the leading edge work, was not protected from falling by a guardrail. On or about May 25, 2023, The workers were engaged in framing work on an apartment complex across multiple sites and were operating at a height greater than six feet from the ground without any fall protection. Location A on the north side of the site. Location B on the west side of the site Kacco, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1533093, citation number #1, item number #1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09-07-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 740 North 14th Street, BATON ROUGE, LA 70809.
